Coming to CPAC? Join the Cost of Government Center!

Americans for Tax Reform and its Cost of Government Center will be hosting a panel at this week's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to discuss the expanding regulatory state. If the increased regulatory burden under the Obama Administration is any indication, this will be the next front in the war against big government.

Every year, ATRF produces the Cost of Government Day Report, which calculates the full burden of government spending and regulation. In 2011, the average American had to work 77 days to pay for the costs of government regulations at the state, local and federal level. This means the regulatory burden consumes more than a fifth of national income. This panel will focus on how we got to this point, and what can be done to combat the escalation in government overreach. Join us!
